Visiting Philly’s Magic Gardens
While the gardens is classified as a museum, the entire space essentially a mish mash of one-off art pieces and misfit items, to classify it as such doesn’t feel fitting.

Girona is approximately 40 minutes from Barcelona by train or an hour and a half drive by car, making it an ideal day-trip to those looking from a break from the bustling city. Though many Games of Thrones fans will also list Girona as worth a visit due to it being home to several filming locations, in my opinion, it’s the historical preservation, hidden gems, and the fact that virtually the entire city is walkable that make Girona most worth visiting.
I have always been a self-proclaimed introvert. I am someone who typically thrives on time alone and uses it to recharge my batteries. That being said, even I find that prolonged isolation tends to put me in a bit of a funk.

“Are you ready?” My eyes shut tightly, “Yep, let’s do it”. A loud whirring of the zip line and a sharp gush of wind blowing past my face, and just like that any fears I may have had retreated as I flew over a beautiful abyss of layered limestone and ophiolite.
South of Seneca Lake in New York State’s Finger Lake region lies Watkins Glen State Park. The park is approximately 778 acres and has been noted in several publications as “One of the most beautiful places to visit” and a “must-see when visiting Upstate New York”.
After several accidental naps due to sudden bouts of jet lag, working on our final presentation that was to be presented in two days, and the worst traffic jam either one of us had ever experienced, we had finally made it to Dubai from Ras al Khaimah.
By the end of 2018, I only succeeded in making 11 journeys. Many were relatively short and others took me further than I had ever dreamed I’d go.
