American playwright, Tennessee Williams, once said “America has only three cities: New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland.”
Well, no offense to Cleveland but after just two days in The Big Easy, I can see why this southern city stands out amongst the rest. And just the way I refuse to ever leave New York, I refuse to not return to New Orleans time and time again.
When it comes to U.S. cities, I’m always going to be a bit bias to my hometown, New York. C’mon, Frank Sinatra even got famous for singing all about it.
But Sinatra also had another song called “Chicago”, a city he regularly discussed his adoration for. And considering how difficult it is to go a day in Chicago without hearing him blaring over the radio, I think it’s safe to say Chicago loved him back.
Today may have seemed like your typical rainy day in New York City, complete with unreasonable train delays and lost eyes due to commuters with umbrellas.
But today was no typical day because today was the grand opening of Wowfulls first brick-and-mortar shop on the lower east side.
